Documentary

KLA has produced a feature-length documentary titled A Palace for the People tracing the story of the Alexandra Park and Palace from the original inspiration to the drama of the second fire in 1980. World famous violinist Yehudi Menuhin and organ builder Henry Willis recall the triumphs and dramas of music at the palace; experts relate the palace's history and local people relive their memories of the 'Ally Pally' including authentic eye witness accounts of the 1980 fire.

The picture opposite shows Sarah Dee (presenter) with Stuart Little (camera) and Joanna Faulkner (production assistant) in the Great Hall of the Alexandra Palace.

We also worked closely and very sucessfully with members of the Hornsey Historical Society on the making of A Palace for the People  and we very much look forward to working with them and other historical societies on other similar projects in the future.

The video is available here in the UK in both VHS and DVD formats priced £16.50 each including post and packing. NTSC copies for the USA and Canada are also available at £23.50 including post and packing. Please click HERE for further details and to order a copy.
