Scanning to Video

Any material, for example photographs, can be scanned and put onto video tape.

This can bring the material to life and there is tremendous flexibility in the process. Before transferring to tape, the photographic scan can be enhanced in many ways eg small parts can be selected and tears and marks can be repaired. Also when editing the video tape various transitions and other material eg film or music can be added to make the result more polished.

The final edited tape has many uses eg a video family history for personal use, a business presentation etc.

Duplication
we do small-scale duplication and can arrange larger-scale duplication, usually in conjunction with other projects. -

Standards Conversion

We copy NTSC tapes (NTSC is the television system used eg in the USA and Japan) so that the copy can be played on UK system (PAL) video recorders.

We also produce NTSC copies of PAL videos.

Printing from Video

Frames of video can be selected, grabbed and then printed out in colour. Often the video image is the only one available and frames can be selected very precisely producing a result which captures an instant in time. This service can be combined with film-to-video transfer which means that frames from archive film can be printed out providing colour images often not otherwise available.
